I drew this thing in MSPaint last week. Not bad, eh? I was just trying to combine a hen with a bomb. I didn't realize till after it was done that the hen comes off seeming decapitated. But I guess that is pretty "punk." I hear that's what the kiddies like.Maybe I'll put this on a shirt? Who knows . . .
So it's a bad thing when the Pigs shut down your band practice.(Disturbing the peace, I guess—the theft-ridden, beatings-laden, shootings-addled "peace."). . . But maybe it's a good sign? We're a punk rock band. We play loud, abrasive music. So you can fucking suck it, boys in blue.At least we're doing our job right. If you wanted to do a real service to the community, with your breathtaking intellects and paunchy physiques, why didn't you all just become Phys Ed teachers?Suffice it to say, my mind is forever-blown by your life decisions.
We have a new EP coming out pretty soon. And I'm not just talkin' a CD-R this time. No, sir! Genuine vinyl. Mastered. The works. This delicious 7", to spin at the rate of 45 revolutions per minute, will feature 5 songs (all of which you've heard before if you've come out to see us in the last month or two) and one bonus track to melt your heart. Recorded, once again, by Bryce Hackford in his Brooklyn loft, it's called Filth Rattle.
If all goes according to plan, we should release this EP on Friday, February 12th (Abraham Lincoln's birthday) at Goodbye Blue Monday. The show will be free, and Electricians & Video Daughters are also on the bill.
Something to look forward to.
